I have described myself as many things throughout the years, but have since settled on focusing on my passions in music and technology. Foofy, an orange-coloured cartoon fox, is my brand's avatar.
Version 8, revision 5, public
Foofy generally looks like an actual red fox (Vulpes vulpes) with the addition of yellow hair. He loves making music ever since he was young and often jams on the piano. He is reserved in nature, but his closest friends know him to be very wild.
Foofy was first designed in mid 2015 as my second original anthropomorphic character, and the first the world saw. He has been the persona for my online interactions ever since.
The name Foofy is itself a shorthand of my alias FoundryFarm. FoundryFarm is an anagram of the phrase, "Furry Fandom", a subculture I was into at the time of Foofy's creation. A fun fact: Foofy's initials, FF, are actually wholly from his first name, which is why Foofy was styled as "FooFy" in his early days. Foofy adopted a simple middle ("Red") and last name ("Fox") eventually. His full name is hence "Foofy Red Fox".
Many things have changed since Foofy came into my life, including Foofy himself. I have given him glasses, muzzle markings, and an obsession for 80's music. The origins of Foofy may be a distant memory, but he represents the journey in finding myself over the years.
I believe that music brings people together. Foofy, my personal mascot, is a fox with a love for music. FoofyFox is my artist name, shorthand Foofy. Making music and programming are my two passions I spend the most time on. Other interests include in drawing, writing, and aviation.
I like spending good quality time with friends, and I'm thankful for everyone I've met along the way. I may ramble a little among those I hold close, but I try my best to understand where they're coming from. I wish to walk not in front, or behind my friends, but alongside them in every step they take.
Having been around, in my eyes, there's too much of a focus on being popular these days. Being someone who has been and has talked to those on the sidelines, I feel that there's a magic to letting those lesser known feel that they're not alone. Perhaps, for the stranger who may read this, you could give it a try, and maybe make a best friend that you couldn't otherwise.
